Mt Pleasant Preschool has been providing quality Christian Preschool instruction to the Mineral Wells community since 1993.

Mt Pleasant Preschool strives to provide a warm and safe environment for children where they will be loved and respected. We seek to develop the “whole child” in the following areas:
Spiritual
We share Bible stories, songs and prayers with the idea of teaching children they are special because of God’s love.
Emotional
We foster the development of social skills and self-confidence through individual and group interaction, by nurturing and recognizing feelings, participation in holiday parties, special days, field trips, individual and group activities, and other special events.
Cognitive
We strive to develop critical thinking skills, reasoning and creativity through the use of finger plays, stories, science and nature activities, art and games. We introduce the children to the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and music. We provide a literacy rich environment and share our love of reading. Children are introduced to site words in the four year old class.
Physical
We assist children in the development of both gross and fine motor skills with games, creative art projects, painting, cutting and writing.
3 and 4 Year Old Class Schedules:
Both classes are taught by a WV Certified Teacher and an experienced Teacher Aide.
3-Year-Old Class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - noon.
4-Year-Old Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. - noon.
Classes begin in September the day after Labor Day and end in May.
